Join our team

We seek to employ excellent candidates, who are eager to play a central role in reinforcing the Latymer School's already strong position, as well as further their own development and progression.

Successful applicants will work with some of the country’s brightest young people, helping them to realise their full potential through adventurous, engaging teaching and dedicated support. As part of our team, you will foster an academic environment that takes students well beyond the classroom.

Teaching staff are encouraged to share their own passions with students, through the provision of a plethora of worthwhile extra-curricular activities in areas as diverse as music, drama, sport, and chess. Our provision as an outstanding school is also underpinned by the work of an exceptional team of support staff, composed of individuals who demonstrate attention to detail, efficiency, and care in all they do.

There is much room for career development at the School, and we are eager to invest in relevant training opportunities for all members of staff.

It is worth noting that although we expect applicants for teaching positions to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, prospective applicants should not be daunted by the prospect of teaching high ability groups.

We look forward to receiving your application and welcoming you to our community!

What I enjoy most about working at Latymer is the diversity of nationalities and cultures, which is really celebrated in the school.

Matshe Gunn, Director of Finance & Operations

The emphasis is on doing what is best for the pupils and helping them to think for themselves and challenge themselves, rather than just spoon-feeding them information.

Stuart Panton, Head of Physics

I love the strong pastoral focus we have here; there is a real sense of trust and care.

Henriette Fritzsch, German Teacher

I wanted to work in a multicultural school that encourages every child to thrive and build a great future for themselves.
The school has given me great opportunities to develop new ideas. It's as if our motto "Who endeavour wins" was created with fundraising in mind!

I really enjoy my relationship with the staff here; training together has helped us develop a sense of camaraderie as well as mutual and self-respect.
