Wellbeing
At the Latymer School, we aim to promote positive mental health and wellbeing for our staff and student community. We recognise that students’ mental health is a crucial factor in their overall wellbeing and success; good physical and mental health will support their learning and achievement.
Our aim is to assist our students to make a smooth transition to adulthood and to build resilience to enable them to thrive in the modern world. More generally, an atmosphere of positivity is created by a culture of celebrating success, both on an academic and personal level and through a thriving extracurricular programme.
"Leaders ensure that there is highly effective pastoral support for all pupils. Pupils' wellbeing is well cared for, for example through the work of tutors, heads of year, counsellors and pupil wellbeing ambassadors." Ofsted 2026
