Drama

Our epic Latymer shows!

Aiding students to communicate, articulate, and empathise, drama plays an important role at the Latymer School. The number of students who participate in annual productions is high, and the whole school turns out to support performers on show nights.

Famed for large studio productions, the school takes pride in the scale of drama opportunities open to students. Each year the Drama Department stages a senior play, performed by older students, and a junior drama production, with casts selected from Years 7, 8 and 9. Recent productions have included The Sound of Music, Anything Goes, Annie, and Hello Dolly. Performances of exam work by A Level and GCSE Drama students are also a highlight.

The Latymer School’s state-of-the-art Seward Studio, attractive Great Hall, and modern drama studios offer valuable space for rehearsals and performances.
