Important notice - Changes to schedule

IMPORTANT - CHANGES TO SCHEDULE ON OPEN DAY FOR CURRENT YEAR 5 STUDENTS.

The Latymer School Open Day will go ahead as planned on Thursday 27^th April. However, due to the proposed industrial action on that day, we have made changes to the schedule for the event.

OPENING TIMES

The school will now be open to prospective parents and Year 5 pupils between 12pm and 5pm (as opposed to previously advertised from 3-7pm).

HEADTEACHER'S PRESENTATION

The Open Day Event will include an opportunity to visit subject departments and attend a talk from the Headteacher and students regarding life at the Latymer School. The Deputy Headteacher will outline the admissions process.

Registration for the Headteacher's Presentation has been open for four weeks and are now full. If you haven't got a ticket, the presentations will be made available on the 2024 Admissions page after the event.

CHANGES TO THE TIMINGS OF THE HEADTEACHER'S PRESENTATIONS

Unfortunately, we have had to bring the 5.15pm presentation forward to 2pm. If you are holding tickets for the 5.15pm presentation, we would kindly ask you to come to the earlier presentation at 2pm.

The timing of the 4.15pm presentation is unchanged.

Alternatively, if you are unable to attend either session, the presentation will be posted on the 2024 Admissions page after the event.

VISITING CLASSROOMS / FACILITIES

There will be an opportunity for prospective parents and pupils to visit classrooms to see the school facilities and staff and students will be available to answer any questions that you may have.

Please be aware that some staff will not be in school for the Open Day event due to the industrial action that day.

BOOKING A TIME SLOT TO VISIT THE SCHOOL (CLASSROOMS AND FACILITIES)

The intention of the Open Day is to give parents and prospective pupils a sense of the school by seeing the school in a relaxed atmosphere.

To book a time to visit the school's classrooms and facilities, please use this ticket link, choose the session you would prefer, and you will receive a confirmation email from us.

Please note that the last tour will be at 4pm and the school will close at 5pm.
