German work experience

Wonderful experience for our Year 12 students.

Students immersing themselves into their German work experience.

Latymer German students from Year 12 are settling into their work experience in Germany this week and will continue to work there until the end of half term.

Placements include local primary schools, where our students support young children in lessons, often to help them access the curriculum if they have recently migrated from Ukraine, Somalia and many other countries.

Two Latymer students have started their engineering placement to learn designing products on computers for 3D printing and working on the production line for building machines, i.e. for printing newspapers.

Furthermore, we have placements at the regionally acclaimed Bielefeld Stadttheater, in the central hospital's A&E department and in two different law firms.

One student has already been to court to witness a prosecution.
