Last week, Izzudin Azhan, Class of 2021, gave a fascinating insight into university life, taking a Maths degree and writing personal statements, to Year 12 students.

Having recently finished his BSc Mathematics with Statistics at Imperial College London, Izzudin wanted to give something back to Latymer, before embarking on his accounting training.

It was a very interactive talk, which not only ignited a spark in students to pursue a degree in Mathematics and gave a very honest, practical view on university life, but also showed that university is not just a place to learn - it is also a place to discover oneself, try new activities and acquire lifelong skills.
