Last week, a group of ten Year 8 girls visited the University of Hertfordshire to take part in the first I Belong Student Careers event. The event was planned by the National Centre for Computing Education with the goal of inspiring more girls to pursue careers in Computing.

The afternoon included inspirational talks from women working in the computing industry and a hands-on computing workshop. The trip was rounded off with a tour of the University of Hertfordshire campus.

The girls had a fantastic afternoon and were a credit to the Latymer School.
