The Year 10 GCSE music students made their way to the Apollo Victoria theatre to see the musical Wicked.

As Georgina, Year 10 student, explains "As someone who has never watched the show (or the recent film  adaptation), I am pleased to say that it made for a spectacular afternoon. I was impressed at how it managed to balance such themes that are somehow poignantly connected to current events alongside some hilarious comic relief. My favourite song from the show had to be the one we are studying for our set work - Defying Gravity. It's a powerful track about taking things into your own hands and the visual direction for it is stunning. I encourage all who haven't watched the show to go see it!"
