Melis, Year 8, qualified for the final of the Enfield Secondary School Librarian Chess Competition after winning her qualifying six games. She was the only student out of the 48 not to drop any points!

Melis faced a Year 13 student from Lea Valley Academy in the final and Melis successfully became the runner-up for the entire competition. 

In addition, the Latymer team also emerged as the overall team winner for having the most team points and retained the cup. Amazing results and congratulations to all!
