After four rounds of competition, Shival (Year 7) emerged as the winner of the Junior Chess knockout competition. The competition involved all Chess players who were not members of the Latymer A or Latymer B teams.

Well done to Shival and we expect him to join the B team at some point. In recognition of his achievement, Shival received a Headteacher’s award from Ms Cobbett.

Henry (Year 8) also deserves recognition as the runner up who never lost a match until the final.
