National Careers Week
23/02/2026

Much content for students and parents to check next week.
National Careers Week is taking place this year from Monday 2nd to Saturday 7th March, with a whole host of activities taking place both nationally and as part of our school calendar. We will be kicking off the week by introducing pupils to the Career of the Month for March, and we encourage pupils to look at different career options which are of interest to them and to consider the different pathways they can take to get there.
This term, there is a helpful guide on The Parents Guide To website for how parents/carers can support their child with their future career (see the link at the bottom of this article).
At Latymer, all pupils from Year 9 onwards receive a log in to an online platform called Unifrog, which is a fantastic website full of information about further education providers, career pathways, and possible subjects which can be studied at different education levels. We would also like to encourage pupils to continue to use this resource to look at all the possible options available to them.
On Wednesday 11th March, shortly after the end of National Careers Week, Unifrog is hosting a virtual Subject Discovery Fair from 4pm to 6.30pm and students/parents can sign up to get involved here: Subject Discovery Fair.
Your child may already have a clear idea in mind about what they plan on studying at University or they may want to explore all of their options - this is a great opportunity to find out more about different subjects which can be studied, directly from some of the top UK Universities themselves!
There is also a session for parents and carers at 6pm, to help you support your child in the decision-making process.
