Huge congratulations for our excellent Sixth Form Shostakovich Piano Quintet that successfully made it to the very prestigious final of the South East Chamber Music Competition!

As Mrs Drury, Head of Strings, commented “Billy, Ella, Hannah, Evie and Leo are all excellent musicians and have worked so hard on this demanding piece. They thoroughly deserve this place in the final.”

Our students will proudly showcase their work and the Latymer School – the only state school to be represented in the final in the Senior category. This is a real testimony of the hard work, dedication and passion of students and teachers alike in our thriving Music Department.

The final will take place on Tuesday 17^th March at St George’s Church, Hanover Square, London. We wish them all the very best for this competition.
