Warm your heart with Frozen JR. and DNA Junior Drama production double bill.

Years 7, 8 and 9 present Disney’s  Frozen JR.  and Year 9 will begin the evening performing a gripping short play DNA by Dennis Kelly Thursday 2nd and 3rd July, 7pm.

An early performance of just Frozen JR. will be performed at 5.30pm on 3rd July to accommodate a younger audience.

Frozen JR. is a spectacular 60-minute musical, based on the 2013 Disney film and the 2018 Broadway adaptation.

Do you want to build a snowman? You’ll love this fanciful and heartwarming stage adaptation of the top-grossing animated film of all time! Join Anna, Elsa, and all of your favourite characters as they embark on an epic, ice-filled journey of self-discovery, camaraderie, and the real meaning of true love. Adapted for young performers, this musical includes favorite Frozen songs such as Love Is an Open Door, Do You Want to Build a Snowman? and Let It Go as well as wonderful new songs from the Broadway production. With its empowering message of love and understanding, Frozen JR. is sure to melt your heart!

DNA is a dark play about a group of teenagers whose bullying leads to a presumed death, forcing them into a moral and social crisis as they cover up their actions. The play explores bullying, peer pressure, and the psychology of group behaviour, questioning whether cruelty is inherent or socially learned. The play examines morality, accountability, and the consequences of deception, showing how fear and self-interest can override empathy. It also raises questions about leadership, conformity, and the ethical dilemmas faced when individuals prioritise social cohesion over justice. Year 9 students have adapted the schools' edition to a 40-minute performance.
