On Monday 5 October, our Year 7 and Year 9 students enjoyed an exciting series of interactive science presentations delivered by Braintastic Science in the Great Hall.

Year 7 students took part in Am I Normal?, an engaging show exploring genetics, evolution, brain plasticity and neurodiversity. Through demonstrations, experiments and creative activities, students explored what makes each of us unique and celebrated the different strengths we can all bring to society.

Year 9 students participated in Mastering Memory, an interactive presentation exploring how the brain learns and stores memories. Through quizzes, memory games and practical activities, students discovered how to make the most of their memory and develop effective revision strategies to support their learning and examination preparation.

Both presentations provided an engaging opportunity for students to explore the science of the brain, challenge their thinking and discover how scientific understanding can help us appreciate our differences and become more effective learners.
