On Wednesday 15th July, The Globe Players came into school to perform a production of What You Will, a devised piece which includes sections of many Shakespeare plays, and offers an excellent introduction to his comedies, tragedies and histories. Year 7 students provided an excellent audience, with a couple of them even being invited on stage, and the actors were full of compliments about how engaged they were. Two students offered their reviews:

"It was really good and the actors showed full enthusiasm during the play, interacting with all the students fully, making it memorable for all the year sevens present. They taught us about Shakespeare in a really fun way, making children remember in an enjoyable way. 5 stars, would recommend." Diyaan, 7 Ashworth.

"The performance was incredible. The actors brought every scene they acted to life and really let us - as an audience - immerse ourselves in the shows. It was also very interactive, with some of our classmates being able to help in certain scenes. The actors really engaged us with the plays, keeping it relatively funny throughout, with some of the heavier scenes left in to balance it out." Nikolai, 7 Ashworth.
