Over the past month, our Years 7, 8 and 9/10 Girls' football teams have been competing in the borough 7-a-side football competitions at Edmonton County Power league. It has been a wonderful way to end the football season, and some great skill has been demonstrated by all teams.

The Year 8 team played well in the group stages with some fantastic saves from Maryam in goal. The Year 9/10 team played excellently and narrowly missed out on progressing through.

The Year 7 team managed to bring home the trophy with Esther scoring every single one of the teams' goals! It has been a real pleasure coaching the girls' football teams this year - their commitment and passion have been a joy to see!

Thanks also to Ms Edwards, Ms Robson and Mr Reader who all support Girls Football at Latymer - we couldn't do it without them, and they are great role models to the students!
