Andorra trip

In the February half term 54 students and six staff visited Grandvalira in Andorra for a week of skiing. Students and staff both enjoyed the week and improved their skiing! Here are a few messages from students who went on the trip.

Adrian and Emily, Year 9: "I really enjoyed the ski trip to Andorra. It was an amazing experience to be able to ski with my peers. Not only the skiing but all the evening activities were just as fun. Although the food wasn't the best and the journey was long, it was all worth it as we got to make so many memories with people I never expected to get along with so well. I'd love to thank the teachers and staff for helping provide us with the opportunity to go on such a trip."

Anaya, Year 9: "Our recent trip to Andorra was an incredible experience for all of us. During our time at Grandvalira, we had daily lessons to help our skiing skills and attempt going down different slopes. There were plenty of laughs and many falls on the runs, but overall it was a brilliant opportunity where we had an amazing time all together. After skiing, we enjoyed many fun activities such as bowling and Klub (disco) that were organised for us and there were so many unforgettable memories made!"

Alexander, Year 9: "For me, the Andorra 2026 Ski trip with Latymer was an amazing experience full of forever lasting memories, incredible skiing opportunity, and unimaginable amounts of fun! Not only was skiing down the slopes and mountains with your friends such a great experience but having the wonderful staff and teachers that came alongside the students was such a lovely addition and they were always joining in on the fun that went on throughout the trip. I woke up every day excited and looking forward for what was to come throughout the day. Hotel Panorama was a very nice hotel, the rooms we stayed in were lovely. Overall, the Andorra ski trip will be one to remember and all the memories will stay with me for the rest of my time at Latymer."

Rafih, Year 10: "We had loads of fun learning how to ski! We had great instructors and the weather was mostly fine, but it was still fun when it was more blizzard-like! We also loved bowling and swimming as well as going out to the Klub (disco). It was also great to get to know other people in both Year 10 and 9. Most of us had never seen that much snow before so it was very cool, especially snowball fights!"
