Our Year 11 students, most of whom will be 16+, are required to complete a week-long placement on completion of their GCSEs. Next summer this period will be between 22 June and 17 July 2026. Some students may be available to take up a placement prior to 22 June or during the school holidays.

For our students, an in-person placement allows them to develop soft skills, start to think about their future after school, add to their CV and UCAS application to name but a few benefits. By hosting a student on placement, you will be supporting a young person on their educational journey and a chance to showcase your industry and perhaps attract future employees and colleagues.

If you or your employer is in the position to offer a placement, please register your interest in this form. Our agents, Karen or Doug Norris from Sirrond Ltd, will arrange a convenient time to talk with you, compile a job description and check that the necessary health and safety requirements are met.
