On the 5th of October, The Latymer School Chess team participated in the Harrow School Chess Blitz tournament.

Josh (Year 12), Rishi (Year 13), Luca (Year 12), Xavier (Year 13), Beni (Year 9), James (Year 9), Pratyush (Year 9) and Max Ming (Year 7) as a team came second amongst the 21 teams that participated!

This is an improvement from the third place from last year in the same tournament. Well done to the team, but a special mention to Josh, the team captain who defeated an International master and the top ranked player in one of his matches!
