Mini concert for Year 8 students
Forget Glastonbury! On Tuesday, Year 8 had the pleasure of welcoming the band 'The Entitled Sons' to Latymer for a mini concert and chat about mental health and social media.
The band, who consist of four brothers and their dad, played some of their hits to the students, rocking out the Seward Studio and giving the students an afternoon of entertainment they won't be forgetting! The band also gave real life advice about the impact of social media on mental health - something Year 8 students could really relate to. It was amazing to see the atmosphere in the Seward Studio with all the students cheering and screaming on the band, even getting to meet them afterwards. Thank you so much to the band for their performance, hopefully they will see some of the Latymer community at their future concerts!
Kheya, Year 8 student, commented "The show on Tuesday was absolutely phenomenal, creating an unforgettable memory for all. In the beginning, we had gone from getting our mini pamphlets signed to watching the Entitled Sons singing their hearts out! After we had a small interactive talk about social media looking at its positive side and its negative side. The band were very relatable when discussing social media. At the end, we were shown an unreleased song and were given free wristbands. I can't wait to see them again. A massive thank you to Ms Fenner for organising such an amazing afternoon!"
