Sports Day

Students on the field competing

Annual celebration of sports

Congratulations to the Latymer House students, who walked away from Sports Day with the winners' trophy.
At the halfway stage it looked like it was set to be a closely fought contest between Wyatt House and Latymer House, as they had achieved very similar points from the morning programme. Heading into the afternoon athletics events, they both had a decent lead over the other houses, and that proved to be the case right up until the final event of the day, the Squadron Relay.

Sports Day saw all of the pupils in Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 participating in an event of their choice, with some very impressive performances in the athletics events. Another record-breaking year saw a number of the Sports Day records broken and a range of students across all year groups will now proudly have their name written on the Latymer records until this time next year.

Well done to everyone who took part and represented their houses successfully. The final order of the Sports Day was:

  • 1st Latymer House
  • 2nd Wyatt House
  • 3rd Keats House
  • 4th Ashworth House
  • 5th Dolbe House
  • 6th Lamb House
