Cricket team with Ms Fenner

U13 Girls' cricket team

The cricket team got their first hardball win last week against Robert Clack School, showing just how far they have come from the start of the season.

The game started brilliantly with Manasvini getting a wicket on the first ball and the bowling continued to be excellent throughout, with Ava and Shrinika getting two wickets each. Amaya and Manasvini then forged a fantastic partnership as the opening batswomen and were retired after 8 overs, having put 88 runs on the scoreboard.

The team managed to surpass the target of 122 runs in the 13th over, clinching the win with 7 wickets remaining.

We are so proud of the attitude and effort the team has put in this year - it has been an utter pleasure to take them on fixtures, and it was a fitting way to end the season with a win. Bring on next season!
