This November, 29 students from Years 10 and 11 participated in the Bebras Challenge to test their skills in computational thinking. This is what Dilnaaz, Year 10, had to say about the experience:

“This year, I got to take part in the Bebras challenge along with lots of my friends and peers. It was very different from what I was expecting, as I was worried it was going to just be coding, but it was actually more logic based. I ended up finding it quite interesting, and actually enjoyed taking part in the challenge, mostly fuelled by healthy competition with my friends. It ended up going pretty well, and I managed to make top 10% in the country, which I was really proud of, and it’s also something that I will be able to put in my CV when the time comes. I’ll definitely be taking part next year as well!“ 

Seventeen of our students were awarded Gold Awards for scoring in the top 10% of students in the Seniors category nationally. We would like to celebrate the achievements of all the students who took part!
