Congratulations to our GCSE, Year 12 and A Level Art students. During the past five weeks we have celebrated the achievement of our students by having our annual exhibitions. We would like to thank our students for making it such a success. The work showed innovation, creativity and dedication. Well done!

We would also like to thank our parents, teachers, governors and friends who attended the shows. It was appreciated by the Department and students. Thank you for sharing your comments and being part of the celebration.

A final thank you must go to the support staff that set up the boards, helped with the technology, assisted with the displays, and generally made the space sparkle. Every year as Head of the Art Department, I am so grateful for the support given by the school and the Department to enable such a marvellous event to happen. It was so brilliant to see the pieces I'd spent the whole course making displayed like a real gallery, and I loved being able to see the art of everyone in the classes together for the first time, it felt like a real celebration!
Art has been my favourite class in my GCSEs, I really enjoy all the freedom you get to create and experiment.
