Trip to Tours

Laura and Michelle, Year 10 students, tell us abou their trip:

"The exchange to Tours was definitely a fantastic and memorable experience for all the students involved; it was a great experience for the students to both practise their French, as well as providing an opportunity to immerse themselves in the French culture and way of life.

Our first day in Tours, which was a Sunday, gave everyone the chance to get to know their exchange partners and their families. Throughout the week everyone engaged in many activities including visiting Chenonceau Castle, visiting gardens, partaking in renaissance painting and cooking workshops, eating traditional French crêpes, completing a scavenger hunt in a French market, and a whole day spent at the theme park of Futuroscope, as well as many other activities which helped develop everyone’s French understanding as well as providing an extremely memorable experience for all.

Everyone had an amazing time in the beautiful town of Tours and thank you to the teachers who made this amazing trip possible!"
