Mr Collins, Head of Design & Technology, tells us about this competition:

This year’s school cake competition was absolutely mind-blowing! The theme was "Time", and I honestly do not think anyone expected the level of creativity, imagination, and pure baking genius that came through the hall doors. As soon as I walked into the food room, it felt like I had stepped into a bakery run by time-travelling chefs.  Every table was a portal into a different moment, and each cake told a story in sugar, sponge, and skill.

Overall, the competition was not just about who could make the fanciest cake – it was about expressing ideas, telling stories, and having loads of fun while doing it. 

Who knew time could taste so sweet?

The overall House winner was Lamb, with 133 points!

The overall individual winner was Cecilia in 7 Wyatt, with a beautiful and original idea, brilliantly executed. Cecilia titled her cake 'decay of a flower'.
