Following our successful first outing for the National Swimming competition, we again took four teams to compete. This year saw a Latymer team for Junior Boys (Deniz, Oskar, Hussein and Alex), Inter Girls (Maggie, Alisa, Marianna and Freida), Inter Boys (Luca, Renesh, Yahya and Alp) and Senior Boys (Ben, Alex, Leo and Louis).

We travelled down to Croydon, to Whitgift School who we had not visited before. After enjoying a look at the Whitgift School flamingo's, based at the school, we were ready to compete against a collection of private schools assembled on poolside in both the freestyle relay and medley relay competitions.

We did extremely well across all categories and managed some impressive times. We now await the results of the Latymer Upper event, to see if we were to qualify for the top 24 schools in London (with us being one of only two state schools entered).

• Junior Boys: 6th Freestyle Relay, 6th Medley Relay.
• Inter Girls: 3rd Freestyle Relay, 3rd Medley Relay.
• Inter Boys: 7th Freestyle Relay, 6th Medley Relay.
• Senior Boys: 5th Freestyle Relay, 5th Medley Relay.
