The German Department were delighted to once again host our German Exchange partners, who came to stay from 19th to 26th of September. The exchange is in its 50th year and continues to be a real highlight for Year 10 German learners.

We prepared a varied and busy programme for our visitors, and they enjoyed their time around Central London, visiting the Tower and London Eye. They also went on a coach trip to Cambridge and joined their partners in some lessons here at school. To round off a great week, they saw Wicked in the West End.

A huge thank you to all the Latymer families who opened their homes to an extra teenager (or, in some cases, two!) and were such wonderful hosts.

Frau Fritzsch would also like to thank both Latymer Teaching and Office Staff for their support, and our Sixth Form German students for the great presentation about our school they prepared and delivered to the group. Our return visit to Gladbeck, Germany, will be in March 2025, and we cannot wait!
