On Wednesday 29^th March, ten members of the Dance Club travelled to Trinity Laban in central London to participate in the Royal Academy's Day of Dance.  Here a participating student recalls the day:

"The start to the day was slightly nerve-wracking, but also exciting as we got to showcase the hip-hop routine we had been working on at school, choreographed by a practitioner from Step into Dance. We then watched the interesting pieces the two other schools had prepared. 

Afterwards, we took part in an excellent workshop where we were taught a fun but challenging dance by a professional dance instructor as well as doing a creative exercise where we performed our own dance moves to each other.

Finally, we sat in on a few of the dance classes taking place and had the opportunity to talk to the students, ask questions and get advice from some people who are currently pursuing a dance career. 

Overall, it was a very exciting day, with many helpful, fun and exciting opportunities!"
