Students and staff  came together on 3^rd February in the school’s first assembly to mark February as LGBTQ+ History Month.

Below is part of the assembly that tells of LGBTQ+ history from ancient times up to the present day.  

The video looks at the challenges LGBTQ+ individuals have faced and continue to face as a minority but also celebrates the many positive and supportive changes that have been seen in recent years in the UK and elsewhere.

Further events by the popular LGBTQ+ Soc are planned for the rest of the school year.
