New Square Chambers Prize winner announced
Well done to Kiara for winning first prize.
Kiara, Year 12, wins top prize.
To commemorate Stephen Lawrence, killed in 1993 in an unprovoked racist attack, and to encourage future lawyers to consider a career at the Bar, New Square Chambers invited 16-18 year old students from non-fee paying schools to enter their essay competition. The theme this year was: “Should law be a mandatory subject in schools?”
Huge congratulations to Kiara, Year 12, who won first prize! Her essay will be published on New Square Chambers’ website in due course and she also won legal book vouchers, a three-day work experience and a CV review/mentoring session.
