Year 11, 12 and 13 Latymer learners of Russian attended a talk by Magzhan Ilyasov, an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UK.

The talk took place at the Harrow School and was arranged by their Russian department. Pupils learned about  the history, society, culture, traditions, politics, and economy of Kazakhstan. His Excellency Mr Ilyasov presented an interesting insight into challenges of current international events and diplomatic relationships.

Pupils found the talk and a Q&A session engaging and informative.
