Societies Fair
03/10/2024
A favourite event for everyone at school!
Last Friday, we held our annual Societies Fair in the Great Hall, a vibrant event where many students took part, whether by running a stall, or exploring new interests and signing up for societies.
Co-curricular engagement is a key part of our school’s ethos, fostering skills and friendships beyond the classroom.
Jacob, Year 9 and one of the presidents of Transport Club (a very well-established society here at Latymer!) tells us more "My friend and I run Transport Club, which is one of the many societies at Latymer. The aim of our club is to bring together transport enthusiasts from all across the lower school. We operate on a Friday lunchtime in period 6, and we like to show presentations we have made about trains, planes and buses. We discuss anything from things that happened in the past, to the most recent news relating to transport. We also operate our model trains and display our model buses and plane."
There are currently over 40 Clubs and Societies being run:
