On Monday, both the Year 9 A and B teams competed in the Borough Netball tournament which took place at the Latymer School. Both teams played lots of netball throughout the afternoon and demonstrated great performances on the court.

Big congratulations to the A team who won the tournament, without losing a single game! Well done to Honor who was voted player of the tournament for some excellent support down court and Taqwa who received coach’s player of the tournament for her versatility in the team.

The B team also played fantastically well, showing a massive improvement from the start of the season and managed to finish in fourth place, a great achievement! Well done to Hana for receiving player of the tournament for her brilliant confidence in shooting and Esther and Akasha for receiving coach’s player of the tournament.

Another successful tournament for the squads and a real reward for the dedication shown by the Year 9 students throughout the season. Thank you to Miss Barrell who helped support Miss Fenner with the teams and for organising such fantastic events.
