U14 NETBALL SISTERS IN SPORT TROPHY
The U14 Netball squad have made it through to the semifinals of the Sisters in Sport Trophy after a brilliant win against St Mary's Cambridge.
The girls got off to a great start, scoring 12 goals in the first quarter, with the opposition only managing to slot away one. Defensive pressure was fantastic, with countless interceptions and the team kept calm to extend their lead even further at half-time. It was so impressive to see the teamwork and effort put in by all the players and we finished the game with a storming quarter, scoring 16 goals, making the final score 44 - 9.
A massive well done to the team for working hard at training and implementing what they have learnt on court. A special mention to Zoe who was named Player of the Match for her numerous interceptions and support bringing the ball down court. Thank you to Mrs Baker who came to help coach and cheer on the girls - both Mrs Baker and Miss Fenner are so proud and cannot wait for the next round!
ENGLISH SCHOOLS' TABLE TENNIS
Congratulations to the junior boys and inter boys teams who have now qualified for the Regional Finals. We were extremely close to having all three teams through to the finals, but unfortunately the Senior boys narrowly missed out in 3rd place. The regional finals take place on the 23rd January 2025, venue TBC.
Well done to everyone involved!
