Hugo Cox in Year 12 has contacted school to say:

'A few weeks ago I came across a news article regarding the current crisis in Yemen and I was shocked at the threat to human life and safety that was taking place on such a huge scale with little to no media coverage.

It's considered to be the largest humanitarian crisis of the last 100 years with some 24 million in need of urgent assistance.

I had an idea for school fundraising, but I realised it's just too long a time to wait until we return to school, and would really appreciate if some of the vast Latymer community might be encouraged to 'donate your commute', where people are encouraged to donate what they otherwise would have spent on travel during the Lockdown.'

Please consider donating what you can via the UNICEF appeal link below, and Hugo and the school Charity Committee will be thinking of other ways to raise money for the appeal in the near future.
