Thank you to Janet Osborne and David Daniels who worked with the art department on the 14th and 15th November. They worked with KS4 and 5 students sharing their expertise, knowledge and creativity. We had a fun 2 days where students learnt the skills of stop frame animation, outcomes included moving pen lids to whole group animations. Janet worked with whole classes and individuals showing them techniques in hand building and individuals how to throw on the wheel. Both artists bought their love and passion for their specialised areas to the department.
David gave students a fantastic talk about his journey as an artist/animator and creative path. It gave students an insight into a future career and that anything is possible!
Thanks you so much to the artists and to our students who always make the most of these situations and show their creativity and imagination when responding to the workshops held.
