Virtual Music at Latymer

We were unable to hold our Music at Latymer concert, originally scheduled for Thursday 22 October, but I am pleased that we were able to record a selection of performances before half term representing the music that has been rehearsed in 'bubbles' around school since September: a 'Virtual' Music at Latymer. I have included a programme that gives further details of the pieces and we hope you enjoy watching the performances.

Pupils deserve great credit for their positive attitude despite the many challenges that they face in terms of music-making at the current time. Our general plan for the next few months is for smaller scale concerts (Chamber Concerts) to go ahead in the Great Hall (filmed if audiences/visitors are not permitted), and for the larger-scale concerts to be presented virtually, as here. As with so many things at the moment, all this is of course subject to change!

Thanks for your support of music at the school and well done again to all involved in our Virtual Music at Latymer; it has, as usual, been a great team effort. Qui patitur vincit!

Best wishes for the rest of term.

Jim Harrison Head of Music
