GIRLS' UNIFORM: YEARS 7-11
|
SKIRT
|
Plain navy kilt or box-pleat style available from Lyons: should not be more than 3 inches above the bottom of the knee.
|

SHOES/BOOTS
|
Plain black leather or imitation leather. Light weight boots are permitted in combination with trousers but not with skirts. Heavy working or walking boots are not permitted. Except for the underneath of the sole all parts of the shoe/boot must be entirely black and have a maximum heel height of 2". Steel-tipped or narrow heels are not allowed as these damage the wooden floors.

TIGHTS
|
Plain. Beige or navy: Black, grey, or navy: plain, single colour.
|
|
SOCKS
|
Black, grey, white or navy. Socks should be of a single colour: Black, grey, or navy: plain, single colour: below knee length.
|
|
SHIRT
|
Plain white school shirt as obtainable at Lyons, with regular collar. Long or short sleeves are permitted. Underwear should not be of a colour that shows through the shirt.

TIE
|
Latymer tie available at Lyons or Smiths
|
|
JUMPER
|
Plain navy, v-neck. No other jumper or sweat shirt is permitted.

RIBBONS/SLIDES
|
Navy or black. Metal slides are allowed
|

JEWELLERY
|
Pupils whose ears have been pierced may wear plain and unobtrusive gold or silver ear studs or sleepers up to a maximum of two per ear. No other jewellery is allowed below the sixth form.

TROUSERS
|
Optional plain navy (full length, straight cut), available from Lyons and Smiths. Other styles are not permitted.

|
LABORATORY OVERALL
|
Royal blue (only available direct from Alexandra Workwear Ltd. Order forms are supplied by the school).

BLAZER
|
Optional. If worn must be plain navy with the school badge.

MAKE-UP
|
No make-up or coloured nail varnish is permitted

OUTDOOR UNIFORM: |

FOOTWEAR
|
The uniform shoes should be worn on the way to and from school. Trainers must not be worn on the journey to and from school. |

COATS
|
There is no restriction on the outdoor coat. We advise against the wearing of expensive coats or jackets as the school is not insured for the loss of a pupil's property. Coats must not be worn or carried around school but should be stored either in cloakrooms or in bags.
