Performing Arts Centre - 'Mills Building'
 |
The Drama studio in the Mills building is the main venue in the school for
small-scale and workshop productions and performances of examination work by
GCSE and A-level students. Recent productions have included "The Importance
of Being Earnest" and scenes from "The Rivals" and "Our Country's Good".
GCSE students presented their Scripted Performance work there in the summer
term and AS Drama and Theatre Studies groups gave performances of their
Devised pieces on themes as diverse as Holiday Reps and The Great Escape.
The studios are in constant use for rehearsals for school productions and
are in regular use as venues for junior drama club, dance clubs and the
Young Enterprise performing arts group. |
