Latymer Donates Goggles To NHS

The Latymer School was delighted to help the NHS in a small way by donating 324 goggles to doctors and nurses on the front line of the coronavirus fight!

As Sarah O’Neill, a Biology teacher, explains “In the face of this crisis, the team at Latymer wanted to do everything we could to help our local hospitals! A friend of mine put me in contact with Love Your Doorstep Enfield, who explained the urgent need for goggles for our hospitals. With help from the biology team, we managed to group together 324 goggles to give to our local hospitals include North Middlesex and Whipps Cross! Since then, through networking with local primary and secondary schools, we have managed to get even more goggles together to help our heroes!”

Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, teachers and other key workers in the Latymer Community for everything you are doing right now, and obviously a big thank you to all our own teachers and support staff at the Latymer School!
