It all started one grey wet summers morning at Latymer. 8 Dolbe met at 8.15am in the food room all keen to get a start with baking some sweet treats for the cake sale. 8D worked hard to whisk, whip, stir, chill and bake in the 1 hour time slot. By 9.30 all cakes, biscuits and cupcakes were baked and the room was cleaned up. At 12.30 the cake sale was up and running in the small hall and was a huge success. 8D worked hard to sell all the baked goods in time and even went round the school with a selection to entice more customers. By the end of lunch all the cakes had been sold, raising a whopping £145.00 which will be donated to the Dolbe house charity- Great Ormond Street. Well done to all students involved!
