A Russian feast

Year 9 Russian students have been busy in the kitchen preparing some typical Russian dishes. Having first translated the recipes from Russian to English, they set to work in groups to prepare a dish each. On the menu were borsch (beetroot soup with sour cream), pelmeni (meat-filled dumplings) and pryaniki (honey spiced biscuits). After much chopping, mixing, kneading and boiling the results of our cooking were a great success and a three course Russian meal was enjoyed by all. Приятного аппетита!
